Important: Bespoke Custom Products

All FrameArto products are custom-made, bespoke, and personalized specifically for each customer. Each portrait is uniquely generated based on your photos and cannot be resold or used for other customers.

Because of the personalized nature of our service, we operate on a deposit-first model to ensure you're completely satisfied before committing to the full purchase. This policy explains what is and isn't covered under our refund guarantee.

Our Deposit-First System

Here's how we protect you:

    Pay a small deposit (typically $5) to start the generation process
  2. 2.
    Review your previews - you'll receive 3 AI-generated variations to choose from
  3. 3.
    Request up to 3 free retries if you're not satisfied - we'll regenerate at no extra cost
  4. 4.
    Only pay the balance when you're completely happy with a design

💡 This is why we charge a deposit: You never commit to purchasing until you've seen and approved your custom portrait. This protects you from disappointment and protects us from creating custom work that goes unused.

What IS Covered (Eligible for Refund)

✅ Full Refund of Deposit:

  • Before final payment: If you decide not to proceed after reviewing your previews and free retries
  • Technical failure: If our system completely fails to generate any images
  • Billing errors: Duplicate charges or incorrect amounts charged
  • Service not delivered: If your order is not processed within 48 hours of deposit

✅ Full Refund of Final Payment (Damaged Goods):

  • File corruption: If downloaded files are corrupted and cannot be opened
  • Technical defects: Significant quality degradation not visible in approved previews
  • Wrong delivery: If you receive someone else's portrait or wrong files entirely
  • Physical product damage: If ordering printed products, damage during shipping (with photo proof required)

Note: Issues must be reported within 7 days of delivery to qualify for refund.

What IS NOT Covered (No Refunds)

⚠️ IMPORTANT: Custom & Personalized Products Cannot Be Refunded

Because each portrait is custom-made specifically for you and cannot be resold, we cannot offer refunds after you have approved and received your final product. This is why we use the deposit system - to ensure you're happy BEFORE completing your purchase.

Refunds are NOT available for:

  • Change of mind after approval: After you've approved previews, paid the balance, and received final files - you cannot get a refund simply because you changed your mind
  • Subjective artistic preferences: "I don't like how it turned out" or "The style isn't what I imagined" after you've already approved and paid for it
  • Poor input photo quality: Bad results due to blurry, dark, low-resolution, or inappropriate source photos (we warn you during upload)
  • After downloading files: Once you've downloaded and possess the final high-resolution files, refunds are not possible
  • Late requests: Refund requests made more than 7 days after final delivery
  • Chargebacks without contact: Filing disputes with your bank before contacting us may result in permanent account suspension
  • Unrealistic expectations: Expecting photo-realistic copies or exact replications (our service creates artistic interpretations)
  • Minor artistic variations: Small differences in colors, proportions, or artistic interpretation that don't constitute defects
  • Print quality issues from third parties: If you print the digital file yourself or use another service, we're not responsible for print quality

Why This Policy Exists:

Each portrait requires significant AI processing resources and is custom-created for you. Unlike physical products we can resell, digital custom art has no resale value once created. Our deposit system ensures you can review and approve designs before committing to purchase, protecting both you and our business.

How to Request a Refund

Follow these steps to request a refund:

    Include your order ID and email address used for purchase

    Explain the issue - be specific about what you're unhappy with
  4. 4
    Give us a chance to fix it - we'll offer retries or adjustments first
  5. 5
    Refund processed - if approved, refunds typically process within 5-10 business days

⏱️ Response Time:

We aim to respond to all refund requests within 24-48 hours. Complex cases may take up to 5 business days to fully resolve.

Refund Method & Timing

All approved refunds are processed back to your original payment method:

  • Credit/Debit Cards: 5-10 business days (depends on your bank)
  • Digital Wallets: 3-7 business days typically
  • Bank Transfers: May take up to 10 business days

Note: We cannot issue refunds to a different payment method or account than was used for the original purchase.

Chargebacks & Disputes

⚠️ Please contact us BEFORE filing a chargeback with your bank.

Filing a chargeback without contacting us first:

  • May result in your account being permanently banned
  • Costs us significant chargeback fees (which we'll dispute)
  • Takes much longer than our direct refund process
  • May not result in a refund if we can prove service was delivered

We're reasonable people and want to resolve issues fairly. Give us a chance to make things right before involving your bank.
